“Omar’s updates from the South Pole!

Current coordinates: 89.46.97 S, 72.35.86 W

Day 7: The team had a long day today by covering 21km that took 9hours under skies that were partially cloudy and sunny and the weather was extremely cold. They made good steady strides and if the weather clears up they could see the American research base that is located at the South Pole where they are. Omar is feeling a lot better and is much less tired than !the first days. Everyone is in good spirits and the estimate is one or two more days to reach the South Pole! #omargoessouth”
