Omar Goes South: Day 6

Exciting day today. We go off for a mini-expedition with a team from Germany, Russia and India. The mini-expedition is a 10km loop form Union Glacier Camp where we practice sled-hauling, fine tune our clothing systems, familiarize with gear and equipment, pace setting, navigation and set field camp. We heard of news from other teams who got frostbite so we have to make sure to stay really warm. Green light to fly to the 89th degree tomorrow to start skiing the last degree towards the South Pole. #omargoessouth
